How often should I schedule pool service?
Weekly service is recommended to keep your pool clean, safe, and functioning properly.
What services are included in pool maintenance?
Services typically include chemical balancing, cleaning, equipment checks, and algae prevention.
How long should I run my pool equipment?
Run your filter system 6 to 8 hours per day, and 8 to 12 hours per day when water temperatures exceed 80°F.
How do I know if my pool has a leak?
Signs include water loss, wet spots around the pool, the auto fill is continuously running, and increased chemical usage.
Can I leave my pool empty?
It’s generally not recommended, as an empty pool can crack or shift.
What is the proper pH and alkalinity balance for pool water?
pH should be 7.4 to 7.6, and total alkalinity should be 80-120 ppm
How long should I wait to use my pool after a chemical shock treatment?
Wait 8-12 hours after shocking the pool with chlorine. If using a non-chlorine shock, you can swim within 30 minutes.
Do you offer chemical only service or every other week pool cleaning?
No. It is our goal to keep your pool as clean as possible and as such our rates are based on year-round weekly pool cleaning including basic chemicals.
What is different about your pool cleaning service?
We email weekly pool service reports that include pictures to our weekly pool cleaning customers.
Does my pool need to be drained to clean the tile?
The water must be lowered at least 6-8 inches below the tile to allow for proper cleaning, but in order to delay the visible mineral buildup as much as possible it is recommended that all the water be drained.
